What is weather strip?
Weather strip is a narrow piece of brush, rubber, foam and other materials applied to seal the contact area between the fixed and movable frames of windows and doors. The weather strip can successfully block the airflow while allowing the door to be opened and closed with ease. Basically, weather strip is designed to eliminate a flow or draft from an interior space to an exterior space. Owing to this property, weather strip is often added to window and door for more efficient heating and cooling. It could be used as glass sealing strip, wooden sealing strip, door sealing, fridge seal, oven sealing, container's sealing, car doors sealing, window sealing strip, dust strip, cabinet sealing, etc.

Why weather strip?
Many houses, whether new or old, have many little holes, cracks, through which noise, air, moisture, dust come in. What is more, warm air or cool air could also leaks from these little spaces. Air leaks can account for up to 30 to 40% of the home's overall heat and cooling loss.
